How to Prep For Your Shoot

Choose two or three color families.  What's a color family?!  Well, let's say blue:  the color family would include all blues from navy to light blue and everything in between!

Avoid busy patterns.  If you choose plaid, keep it simple!

Light colors appear bigger to the viewer.  So anybody size-conscious would most likely prefer themselves in a darker color.

Keep it simple!  Simple but beautiful clothing that will show off your family instead of distract from it.

Jewelry:

make sure it complements an outfit instead of distracting from it

Shoes:

your shoes should match your clothing! If you want to feel free and summery, you always have the barefoot option!
